NoDial

Self-control, made physical.

NoDial — an outgoing-call blocking app for Android

Coming soon on Google Play

01What it is

Make the numbers you swore off truly uncallable.

NoDial physically blocks outgoing calls to the numbers you register. No need to delete contacts — even if you remember the number or dial it by hand, the call won't connect. A wall stronger than willpower, for the moment of impulse.

02How it works

1Register a number
2Protection on
3Calls won't connect

Registered numbers cannot be deleted from the app. The only ways out are the cancellation flow (takes effect at month-end) or uninstalling. This is by design — so your weakest moment can't undo your strongest decision.

03Pricing

Registration is ¥0. If you don't attempt a call to a registered number within the month, you pay ¥0.

Only in a month you attempt a call, your self-commitment amount (¥10,000–¥100,000 / $100–$1,000, set by you at registration) is charged at month-end.

04FAQ

Q. Can I unblock a registered number at any time?
No — and that is the point. To unblock, you must go through the cancellation flow (takes effect at month-end; you may cancel the request while it is pending) or uninstall the app.
Q. What about emergency numbers like 110 or 119?
Emergency calls always go through. Emergency numbers are excluded from blocking by Android's own framework, and NoDial adds a second layer of protection so they cannot be registered in the first place.
Q. Does the app collect my personal information?
No email address, name, or home address is required. The phone numbers you register are transmitted only in hashed (SHA-256) form — we never see the original numbers.
Q. When exactly am I charged?
Only in a month you attempt a call to a registered number — the self-commitment amount for that number is charged at month-end. If you never attempt a call, you are charged nothing, no matter how many months you use the app.
Q. What happens if I switch phones?
There is no account-transfer feature (this is by design). Simply register again on your new device.
Q. Does it work on iPhone?
Android only (Android 10 or later).
